• Underground Services: $3,000 – $5,000
• Overhead Services: $4,000 – $6,000
• 400-Amp Upgrades: Start at $10,000 for larger homes or commercial projects requiring more power.
400-amp upgrades are usually needed for larger custom homes, home additions, guest houses, or multiple electric car chargers. If your panel is overloaded, it’s time for an upgrade.
Note: If APS or SRP requires us to move your panel due to code violations (like being under an awning or carport), this can affect the cost.

• Consultation: We’ll sit down with you, go over all your options, and give you a clear
estimate based on what the utility company requires.
• No Hidden Fees: There are no surprise charges at the end of the project. What you see is what you get.
Underground vs. Overhead Service: What’s the Difference?
Underground Service:
Your power runs through wires buried underground, making it more durable and protected from weather and accidental damage. This requires trenching and conduit installation.
Overhead Service:
Your power comes from wires suspended above ground, typically from a pole to your home. This setup is usually quicker but more exposed to weather and potential damage.
Typically, the entire process from consultation to completion takes 2-3 weeks.
The installation itself is an all-day process, with power restored around noon to 2 PM. We suggest you take a staycation for the day since the power will be off for most
of it.
If you’re going for a 400-amp upgrade, plan for a multi-day installation due to the size and complexity of the project.
Important Safety Policy:
If your home currently has a load center, split bus panel system, Federal Pacific, or Zinsco panel, our technicians will only perform the necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades until the main panel is replaced with a modern, safe, and reliable system. Your safety—and the safety of our technicians—is our top priority. Upgrading to a new panel ensures that your electrical system is up to today’s safety standards.
